Brief Summary: In Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the tables are turned as four teenagers in detention are sucked into the world of Jumanji. Again, this is how I'm going to review this movie. I will be basing it on a 5-star (☆) system on these 8 categories. Action, Suspense, Comedy, Drama, Scare Factor, Romance, Adult Content, & Overall Score.
So, let's get started...
Action: ☆☆☆
There was a lot of action in this movie. Mostly fight scenes.
Suspense: ☆☆
There was some suspense in this movie. Mostly during the end of each level of the game.
Comedy: ☆☆☆
There was some pretty comical scenes. Jack Black, & Kevin Hart had some pretty funny scenes.
Drama: ☆
There was very little drama in this movie.
Scare Factor:
There was nothing scary about this movie.
Romance: ☆
There was very little romance in this movie. Mostly with Dwayne Johnson's, & Karen Gillan's characters.
Adult Content: ☆
There was a little bit of adult content in this movie. Mostly language. No nudity in this movie. There was, however, some talk (a funny scene) about the male anatomy.
Overall Score: ☆☆☆
This was a pretty good movie overall. This is a good family movie for the holiday season. It was entertaining & as I said above, there was some pretty comical scenes, but I'm not sure if we'll get this movie when it comes out on DVD/Blu-ray though.
